How does doing yoga make you feel?
Yoga makes me feel at peace, strong, healthy and free.
How long have you been doing yoga?
I have been practicing yoga for 10 years.
Why did you start doing yoga?
I started yoga in college when I had a stress fracture in my lower back. I used yoga, swimming, and forgiveness to heal mentally, spiritually and physically.
What is your favorite type of Yoga? Which type are you best at?
My favorite yoga is acrobatic yoga because its artistic, athletic and scary all at the same time. I’m best at Vinyasa Flow because I love to flow with the breath and move to music.
What don’t you like about yoga (if anything)?
I’m not crazy about all of the Sanskrit names. I wish we could change em up and make them shorter and more beautiful.
What do you love about yoga?
I love how holistic yoga is. As a holistic health coach yoga is my go-to because it embodies the entire person on a conscious and subconscious level.
How often do you do yoga?
I practice yoga every day.
Do you eat before or after yoga? What do you usually eat?
I usually have lemon water before yoga and if I have time a green smoothie or juice and I have the same thing after yoga with more bananas and fresh pineapples if I’m lucky!
